The role
As a Senior Research Consultant at Alumni Global, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex executive search assignments. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the search process, combining deep market intelligence with the ability to engage and advise clients and candidates at senior levels.
Going beyond research and sourcing, you will help shape each assignment through your understanding of the candidate market. You will provide perspectives on talent availability, competitive dynamics and role positioning, while challenging assumptions, refining search strategies and supporting clients as they navigate a competitive talent landscape.
Working closely with consultants and clients, you will take clear ownership of your assignments and ensure consistent quality and delivery across multiple parallel searches. Success in this role calls for analytical rigour, good judgement and the credibility to earn the trust of senior stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading market mapping, research and analysis for senior executive searches
Identifying, approaching and engaging high-calibre candidates for leadership roles
Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with candidates and clients
Owning and driving search processes in close collaboration with clients, including presenting and positioning candidates
Contributing strategically to search execution, including candidate assessment and positioning
Ensuring high quality and timely delivery across multiple parallel assignments
Who are you?
We are looking for a senior professional with a strong track record in executive search or a closely related field. You are comfortable operating at senior levels and bring credibility, sound judgement and confidence to your interactions with clients and candidates.
You combine analytical depth with strong business understanding and have a natural ability to build trust and develop lasting relationships. Structured and delivery-oriented, you take ownership and drive processes independently while remaining a collaborative colleague with a genuine team-first mindset. You are also curious, proactive and intellectually engaged, contributing perspectives that add value beyond the execution of each assignment.
Requirements
Several years of experience in executive search or a similar research-driven role
Proven ability to independently lead research and sourcing in complex assignments
Strong analytical capability and experience in market mapping
Proven experience in international assignments involving research and sourcing across multiple markets
Full professional proficiency in English
Fluency in either Swedish or Danish, combined with strong working proficiency in the other language. You must be comfortable using Swedish as the internal working and meeting language and working extensively with the Danish market.
