The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) has responsibility for the clinical leadership and management of Mater Mothers’ Hospitals (MMHs), inclusive of maternity, neonatal and gynaecology services. The DCS is accountable for upholding Mater’s Mission, Vision and Values, and aligning the strategic plans and goals of MMHs to Mater Health and the Mater strategic plan. The role ensures optimal performance in service delivery through contemporary approaches to healthcare provision and places emphasis on the successful integration of education and research with health services.
