Monash University Malaysia is seeking an outstanding academic leader to become Head of School of Information Technology.
This role is responsible for the performance and culture of the School, ensuring it delivers a distinctly Monash student experience while aligning with the Faculty of Information Technology’s global reputation. The incumbent will strengthen the School’s position within Malaysia and the wider Monash global network, driving interdisciplinary collaborations and engagement with industry, government, and the community.

School of Information Technology (SoIT)
The School of Information Technology (SoIT) is one of seven schools at Monash University Malaysia. It is an integral part of the Faculty of Information Technology, which is one of the most prestigious IT faculties in the world. By integrating its computing and information technology disciplines, the School provides enormous breadth and depth of teaching and research to the campuses, strategic alliances, centres and partnerships that form the Monash global network.
The School offers undergraduate programs in Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Science in Data Science, Bachelor of Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence, and Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours). It also offers a suite of postgraduate coursework programs, namely Master of Business Information Systems (MBIS), Master of Artificial Intelligence and Master of Data Science to meet strong market demand from professionals across all business and technology sectors.
