Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager – Jessie McPherson Private Hospital will provide strategic, operational and financial leadership across a 200-bed private hospital operating within Monash Health’s integrated public and private healthcare environment. You will be accountable for overall hospital performance, driving service growth, financial sustainability, quality outcomes and operational excellence while fostering strong partnerships with medical specialists, clinicians and key stakeholders.

About the Jessie McPherson Private Hospital
Jessie McPherson Private Hospital is a 150 bed tertiary level Private Hospital which has been co-located at Monash Medical Centre Clayton since 1987, and the Victorian Heart Hospital since 2023. Our co–location with Monash Health provides a unique opportunity for access to world-renowned research and teaching facilities.
Jessie McPherson Private Hospital also has a wider official specialist role for greater Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate in such specialties as cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neuro-surgery, gastro-surgical, high acuity maternity and neonatal services. We provide quality private health care not only to the people of Melbourne, but also to regional Victoria, interstate and overseas.
