Vice President, Medicine & Academic Affairs, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital
We are creating a world of possibility for kids and youth with disabilities.
At Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, we care for kids with disabilities, kids needing rehabilitation after illness or trauma, kids whose medical complexity requires a kind of care they can’t get elsewhere. Every day, Holland Bloorview’s frontline staff embrace kids with boundless potential and their families and ask “how can we help you achieve your goals?” With a mix of services not offered anywhere else in Ontario, we partner to provide the best interprofessional care within our walls and to prepare families for life beyond them. Through teaching and research, we expand how the best care is defined and take those new insights around the globe.

Dear Candidate,
Thank you for your interest in Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and the opportunity to serve as Vice President, Medicine and Academic Affairs. As Canada’s hospital for kids with disabilities and developmental differences, Holland Bloorview is advancing a bold future for childhood disability, rehabilitation, research, teaching and care.
This is an exciting moment for Holland Bloorview as we strengthen our role as a global centre of excellence in childhood disability and deepen our impact for children, youth and families. Our future will be shaped by excellence in clinical care, academic partnership, innovation, advocacy and a continued commitment to compassion, belonging, and client- and family-centred care.
The next Vice President will help define and advance this future by strengthening medical leadership, expanding our physician complement, and building purposeful connections across hospital, academic, community and system partners. This is a leadership opportunity with significant scope to influence care, research, education and system impact in service of children and youth with disabilities and developmental differences.
A strong partnership between the Vice President, Medicine and Academic Affairs and me will be central to this work. I am seeking a collaborative and trusted partner with clinical credibility, strategic judgment and a commitment to open, constructive dialogue. The successful candidate will bring curiosity, integrity and ambition to help Holland Bloorview lead with purpose, evidence and impact.
We are looking for a physician leader who leads with compassion, welcomes diverse perspectives and is prepared to take considered, mission-aligned risks to advance better futures for children, youth and families.
If Holland Bloorview’s purpose, values and aspirations resonate with your experience and leadership, I would welcome the opportunity for a conversation.
