    Thank you for your interest in the position of Chief Operating Officer at the International Hospital Federation (IHF). This is an exciting moment to join our organization and play a strategic role in supporting hospitals and health systems worldwide.

    As the leading global membership organization for hospitals, the IHF provides a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and leadership development. With a growing membership base and an expanded range of services and programmes, the COO role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and ensuring the continued success of our mission. Based in Geneva, the IHF Secretariat works closely with our members across 70 countries, empowering healthcare leaders to deliver well-managed, sustainable, and resilient healthcare services.

    Working closely with the CEO and supporting them as required, the COO will oversee critical business functions including revenue generating services ensuring efficiency and effectiveness operations. This role will be based in Geneva, requiring the candidate to be qualified to work in Switzerland and reside in the Geneva region. We are looking for an experienced operational leader with a proven track record in programme management, ideally with experience in hospitals, NGOs, or membership-based entities.
