Chief Research & Innovation Officer

The Chief Research and Innovation Officer (CR&IO) provides executive leadership throughout Metro South Health (MSH) and the broader research community, strengthening and embedding world-class research and innovation as a core function of MSH, and delivering better outcomes for our community.

The role strategically leads the development of research partnerships that elevate our capability and capacity to undertake research and works collaboratively with the Executive team and research and innovation partners. The role optimises the translation of high-quality research into practice to improve healthcare access, experience and outcomes and evolves our models of care to illustrate and align to best practice.
