Professor, Nursing and Head of Discipline, Federation University Australia
The Professor, Nursing and Head of Discipline is responsible for strategic leadership of the Discipline in accordance with Institute of Health and Wellbeing learning and teaching and research plans including the development of inter-disciplinary and cross collaboration activities within the Institute. The position will also represent the Nursing discipline internally and externally including industry and professional body collaboration to ensure Discipline activities are recognized both nationally and/or internationally.

About the Institute of Health and Wellbeing and the Discipline of Nursing
The Institute of Health and Wellbeing (IHW) is a multi-campus institute and comprises approximately 60 continuing academic staff, a range of administrative and professional staff and sessional staff members.
Nursing is the largest discipline at Federation university and maintains a wide range of industry partnerships for placement, research and workplace professional development purposes. Nursing operates across three campuses in Victoria - Ballarat, Berwick, and Gippsland - and has several international collaborations with service providers and higher education providers. Nursing has also developed significant postgraduate programs which are designated as areas of future growth. The nursing programs serve a vital function for the Victorian and national healthcare systems of preparing the next generation of Nurses to high clinical, professional and ethical standards of practice.
