Director of Nursing (Robina Hospital and Communities), Gold Coast Health

The Director of Nursing role provides strategic leadership and advanced corporate support to optimise nursing and midwifery practices and services, and works collaboratively with the hospital and health service executive team members along with the respective Divisional leadership, in the planning of health services and associated budgetary accountabilities.

This role will lead, support and role model a person-centred approach to evidence-based care and service planning, developing and maintaining a quality improvement culture reflective of the principles of the Magnet Recognition Program®.

As the Director of Nursing you will demonstrate advanced clinical and management leadership and advanced corporate support in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation and context of care.
