Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN is one of 31 primary health networks around Australia. Their role in the health system is to both support primary health - the healthcare people seek first in their community, such as GPs, pharmacies, and allied health professionals – as well as work with our partners to ensure the right care is there for those who need it most.

Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN focus is primary care, they collaborate across the whole system to enable our communities to have access to excellent health care, closer to home.

About the role

The Executive Director will engage with primary care providers, HHSs, ACCHOs, Queensland Health, Commonwealth Department of Health, and other stakeholders and partners at all levels (including the most senior executives) to advance the mission and vision of Darling Downs & West Moreton PHN.

As a member of the Executive, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the PHNs strategic framework, performance accountability mechanisms, and organisational capability development to ensure the organisation delivers on its strategic directives and meets the Department of Health (DoH) objectives set for primary health care networks (PHN).
