The Staff Specialist position will provide a diagnostic and management service to all women with gynaecological cancer at the Royal Hospital for Women and agreed partnering hospitals in a full time capacity.

The Royal Hospital for Women's Gynaecological Cancer Centre is one of six major referral centres for gynaecological cancer in NSW, handling 250-300 new cases of invasive cancer annually. They work with a multidisciplinary team of medical and radiation oncologists, specialists, palliative care physicians, genetic counsellors, nurses, and other medical staff. Patients are cared for in a 25-bed ward, which also accommodates those with breast cancer and benign gynaecological issues.
