As a senior leader at Nasdaq, you will be accountable for shaping and executing the strategy for Equity Capital Markets and Listings in Denmark, driving growth on the Nasdaq Copenhagen Exchange and strengthening our position as the premier destination for Danish companies seeking public markets access. This role is not only about advancing Nasdaq’s own commercial success but also about contributing to the long-term growth, development, and competitiveness of the Danish capital markets ecosystem. As a key ambassador for Nasdaq Copenhagen, you will help strengthen the exchange’s reputation, influence, and role as a trusted partner to companies, investors, regulators, and market stakeholders in Denmark.‍ ‍

We are looking for a senior leader with executive presence, deep capital markets expertise, and a strong network across the Danish financial and regulatory ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings credibility and influence to operate effectively with senior market stakeholders while inspiring and leading high-performing teams. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Define and lead the ECM and Listings strategy for Denmark, driving new listing prospects to Nasdaq Copenhagen and overseeing end-to-end execution of IPOs and capital markets transactions, while contributing to the broader Nordic ECM strategy and team. 

  • ‍Serve as the primary relationship owner for senior executives, boards, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, legal and finance counterparts, ensuring seamless transaction execution and fostering long-term partnerships.  

  • ‍Develop and execute public policy and stakeholder engagement strategy, building a robust ecosystem of listed companies, investors, advisors, and industry associations to support a thriving Danish capital markets environment.  

  • Represent Nasdaq with government bodies, regulators, policymakers and market stakeholders, supporting Nasdaq’s operations and the development of healthy and competitive capital market.  

  • ‍Contribute to the strategic direction, reputation and long-term growth of Nasdaq Copenhagen, balancing commercial opportunities with regulatory expectations and market integrity. 

  • ‍Serve as the Office Site Lead for Nasdaq Copenhagen, championing the local office community and embodying Nasdaq’s OneNasdaq culture, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and shared purpose across teams. 

  • ‍Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing team, cultivating a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth aligned with Nasdaq values.

Required Qualifications 

  • ‍Solid leadership experience, ideally gained within capital markets or a similarly complex, stakeholder-driven environment, with the ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive commercial outcomes.  

  • ‍Strong understanding of European equity capital markets, with expertise in the Danish capital market, its regulatory landscape, and IPO and capital-raising transactions.

  • ‍Proven experience engaging with boards, senior executives, regulators, government bodies and other influential capital markets stakeholders.  

  • ‍Established and respected network among key stakeholders in the Danish market, including legal and financial advisors, investors, and private equity and venture capital decision-makers.  

  • ‍Exceptional strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to navigate complexity, drive sustainable growth, and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups. 

  • ‍Fluency in both English and Danish, with strong proficiency as an external presenter. 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Background in financial advisory services. 

  • ‍Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and executive-level professional development.  

  • ‍Experience engaging with industry bodies, advisory councils, or steering committees related to capital markets. 

  • ‍Additional Nordic language skills are an advantage.
