About the role
We are now looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Nordic team as a key business partner, providing financial leadership, commercial insight and governance across the full Nordic P&L.

The role combines forecasting, reporting and financial control with commercial decision support and value creation. You will help translate market data, distributor performance and commercial plans into clear financial recommendations that support profitable growth and sustainable decision-making.

The role is based in central Stockholm and reports to the Regional General Manager Nordics, with a dotted line to the Finance Director ME, Nordics & Portfolio. You will work closely with local commercial and marketing teams, Nordic distributors and international finance and cross-functional teams in the UK.


Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Commercial Support

  • Act as finance business partner to the Nordic leadership team and distributor partners

  • Support performance management and commercial decision-making through financial insight and constructive challenge

  • Identify performance trends, risks and opportunities across the business

  • Lead financial analysis for NPD, pricing, marketing and trade investment initiatives

  • Translate financial data into clear business recommendations for commercial, marketing and supply chain stakeholders

  • Collaborate with International Markets Finance teams to align best practices and ways of working


Commercial Insight & Analysis

  • Analyse drivers of revenue, gross margin and profitability across markets, customers, brands and products

  • Evaluate pricing, mix, promotions and investment effectiveness to improve business performance

  • Support development of business cases for strategic initiatives, including KPIs, risks and post-investment reviews

  • Drive ROI accountability for marketing and commercial investments

  • Lead procurement and commercial evaluation of marketing services and external analytics partners


Forecasting, Reporting & Performance Management

  • Lead Nordic budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with the local team

  • Ensure robust financial planning based on realistic assumptions

  • Maintain strong oversight of short-, medium- and long-term sales, margin and profit delivery

  • Proactively manage risks and opportunities to maximise performance

  • Deliver accurate monthly reporting, variance analysis and financial commentary

  • Maintain a clear “no surprises” approach to stakeholder management


Governance & Systems

  • Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting in line with ABF/Twinings policies and local legislation

  • Support strong financial controls, audit readiness and credit risk management

  • Act as super user for SAP S/4HANA and SAC within the Nordic team

  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting and financial processes


Team & Culture

  • Contribute actively to the Twinings Nordics team culture and development

  • Build strong collaborative relationships across functions and markets

  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on working style

  • Engage with the wider Twinings Finance community to support continuous learning and development


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification

  • 5+ years’ finance experience, with at least 2 years in a commercial finance/co-pilot role, preferably in FMCG Food & Beverage industry

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.  Able to generate insight and proactively engage across the business to turn insight into action. 

  • Excellent communication in fluent Swedish and professional English

  • Strong interpersonal abilities, with proven capability to influence and collaborate across departments

  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI and Nielsen)
