Mattias Östlund is a Partner and Senior Consultant at Alumni Global, where he advises boards and CEOs on executive search, board reviews and leadership consulting. His searches for listed, private equity-owned and family-owned companies cover CEO, commercial and sales appointments in consumer and retail, industrial manufacturing, and construction and real estate, drawing on 15 years of international brand and marketing leadership before executive search.
Bio
Mattias acts as a consultant and advisor to Boards and CEOs across all our service lines: executive search, board reviews and leadership consulting with listed, private equity, and family-owned companies. He has also carried out several management audits and board evaluations.
Mattias joined Alumni Global in 2012 as a member of our Consumer and Industry practice and was Managing Director Sweden 2018-23. Prior to joining Alumni Global, Mattias had 15 years of international leadership experience from senior brand, marketing and innovation positions at Volvo, Absolut Vodka, and SCA/Essity.
Mattias is based in Gothenburg and holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Skövde in Sweden, with studies at Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia and the School of Business, Economics and Law in Gothenburg, Sweden.
