Michael Pieters is Partner and Head of Life Sciences at Alumni Global, working broadly across industries, especially with industrial and pharmaceutical groups and local and regional private equity. His searches cover life sciences, including pharma, medtech and diagnostics, and board, CEO and CFO appointments; before moving into executive search he ran a Nordic chemical distributor as CEO for more than 12 years.
Bio
Michael Pieters is specialised in executive search and leadership services. He operates broadly across industries with a spike in industrial groups and life science, including pharma, medtech and diagnostics, across countries. Furthermore local and regional private equity organisations are a key focus area.
Before joining Alumni Global, Michael has been working for another international executive search company as Senior Partner. Prior to this, for more than 12 years, he was the CEO and President of Brenntag Nordic, the leading company within chemical distribution in the Nordics.
Michael has a particularly extensive track record delivering searches for executives within the following functions: CEO and Board, Commercial, Sales and Marketing, Finance and Legal, HR and Administration, Supply Chain and Operations and Sustainability.
Michael holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management HD (A) from Copenhagen Business School (CBS). Also, Michael has acted as Mentor at the Executive MBA programme at Copenhagen Business School and as a board member of Borup Kemi and the Association of Chemical Distributors.
