As Director, Cairns Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1b, you will lead CHHHS's involvement in more than $1 billion of new Cairns Hospital infrastructure, representing the Health Service and partnering with Health Infrastructure Queensland (HIQ) to ensure the successful design, procurement, construction and commissioning of this transformational investment.

Reporting to the Dean, UNSW Medicine & Health, the Head of School and Vice Dean will provide strategic and operational leadership across this large and distributed clinical academic community.

The role is responsible for the full spectrum of infrastructure management functions across the Health Service, including leadership of the IAM Department. These responsibilities are exercised through the management of in-house labour, and the management and supervision of day labour and/or contractors where necessary to supplement in-house labour.
