Job description
As the Head of Group Accounting, you will play a crucial role in supporting our strategic growth by overseeing the consolidation and reporting processes and ensuring compliance with our financial framework. This is a new, high-impact role with the opportunity to shape and influence the company's financial processes, systems, and frameworks globally. You will work closely with the global finance team to build strong relationships with our reporting entities.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Lead the monthly consolidation and financial reporting process for the group.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and work closely with reporting entities to secure high-quality reporting.

  • Act as the company's accounting expert, responsible for group accounting policies and financial reporting.

  • Continue to develop financial processes to support the company’s growth ambitions.

  • Assist the CFO with financial commentary and analysis.

  • Manage the entire annual financial reporting process, including working with auditors of the parent company and subsidiaries.

  • Application responsibility for Cognos.

  • Provide support with Transfer Pricing involving subsidiaries.

  • Travel to Scanreco’s entities regularly, with more frequent visits to the main locations in Poland, the US, and Italy.

Who are you?
We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in group accounting and financial reporting within the industrial/manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial roles.

  • Extensive experience in group accounting and reporting within the industrial/manufacturing industry.

  • Knowledge of consolidation systems (e.g., Cognos Controller, Aaro).

  • Knowledge of K3

  • Proficiency in English.

Meriting

  • Knowledgeable about Transfer Pricing

  • Knowledgeable about Cash Management (incl. hedging).

  • IFRS

  • Audit background

  • Strong communication skills with a social and interactive approach.

  • Relationship builder with a collaborative mindset.

  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and can-do attitude.

  • Strong focus on continuous improvement and business-oriented financial management.
