Job description
As Finance Director, you will have overall responsibility for the Group’s finance function and play a key role in supporting the company’s continued development and long-term success. This is a broad and hands-on role that combines strategic responsibility with operational execution. You will be responsible for ensuring a well-functioning finance organization while providing business support, financial analysis, and initiatives that strengthen the company’s profitability and financial stability. The role offers a significant opportunity to influence both the future development of the finance function and the continued evolution of the business.
Your main tasks will be to:
Overall responsibility for the Group’s finance function and financial operations incl staff responsibility for 3-5 people
Lead and oversee financial governance, reporting, and performance management
Work both strategically and hands-on with all major accounting and group accounting matters such as:
Manage and prepare annual reports, consolidated accounts and statutory financial statements
Manage tax-related matters, including tax planning
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of VAT and tax returns
Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
Drive and develop business controlling, financial analysis and KPI monitoring
Manage cash flow, liquidity planning and financing activities
Budgeting, forecasting and business planning
Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO and business leaders across the organization
Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, systems and ways of working
Lead initiatives to digitalize, automate and optimize finance processes
Requirements
Several years of experience working in a finance function or as consultant at Big4 within CFO-services, or similar background
Leadership, team lead or project lead experience
Strong expertise in accounting, financial reporting, taxation and financial management
Experience in group accounting and consolidation
Proven experience in business controlling, performance management and financial planning
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and reporting tools
Experience in liquidity management, cash flow forecasting and financing activities
Relevant academic degree
