We are looking for a Director Strategy & Transformation, Global After Sales who will play a central role in shaping the long-term development of Husqvarna Forest & Garden’s global after sales operations. The role is critical in defining future ways of working, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring successful execution across a complex, international organization.
About the role
The Director Strategy & Transformation reports to the VP Global After Sales, Service & Quality and acts as a strategic partner to the Forest & Garden divisional leadership team. The mission is to design and drive the future operating model for after sales while leading cross-functional transformation initiatives across regions and functions.
The role currently manages a team of four direct reports based in Sweden and France and works closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Product, Quality, Training, Technical Support, Parts & Accessories, IT, and Digital.
The position can be based at one of Husqvarna’s locations in Huskvarna, Jonsered (Gothenburg), or Stockholm. International travel is part of the role.
Key responsibilities
As Director Strategy & Transformation, you will:
Drive the development of the global after sales strategy and future operating model in line with overall business objectives.
Map current processes and lead the design of scalable, efficient future-state ways of working.
Lead and coordinate key transformation and change initiatives across the after sales organization.
Ensure implementation, adoption, and alignment of new processes and ways of working across regions and functions.
Act as the primary business counterpart for digital and IT initiatives related to after sales.
Translate strategy into clear action plans with defined KPIs, milestones, and governance structures.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide analyses, business cases, and decision support to senior leadership.
Contribute to global Aftermarket Business Planning to strengthen alignment and knowledge sharing.
You are an analytical and structured leader with strong strategic capabilities and a proven ability to translate strategy into execution. You are comfortable operating at the intersection of business, organization, and transformation, and you build trust and collaboration across complex stakeholder landscapes.

Experience in supporting and implementing strategy in a global, cross-functional context.
Solid understanding of after sales operations, service delivery, and products, technologies, and services related to aftermarket.
Proven experience in transformation and change management.
Strong analytical skills, including business case development and cost management.
Project management experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English.
Experience from management consulting or business development, as well as dealer management, retail, and/or e-commerce experience, is considered a strong advantage.
