Job description
As Director Service Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and governing Husqvarna Forest & Garden’s global dealer service network, covering approximately 25,000–30,000 dealers worldwide. The role focuses on building structured frameworks, operating standards, and performance management systems to ensure high service quality and efficient aftermarket operations across markets.

You will work closely with regional organizations and collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Channel Management, Technical Support, Training, Quality, and Parts & Accessories.

The position reports to the SVP Global After Sales, Service & Quality Europe and includes responsibility for a small global team.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Develop and implement a global dealer service operating model, including standards for service delivery, warranty management, spare parts handling, and customer support

  • Establish and manage performance frameworks, including KPIs, dashboards, audits, and governance structures across the dealer network

  • Strengthen dealer capabilities across the service value chain, including certification frameworks, contract models, and network optimization

  • Drive improvements in service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across markets

  • Act as a global integrator across regions and functions, supporting cross-functional collaboration and execution of key initiatives

  • Lead and develop a global team, creating clarity, accountability, and a performance-driven culture

The role can be based in Stockholm, Husqvarna, or Jonsered (Gothenburg) and international travel will be part of the position.

Who are you?
To succeed in the role as Director Service Business Development, you are business-oriented and execution-focused, with strong experience from service business, aftermarket operations, or dealer network development in an international environment.

You are comfortable working across functions and regions and have the ability to translate strategic ambitions into structured initiatives and tangible results. You enjoy building strong relationships across organizations and have the leadership skills required to drive change and improvement in a global context.

Requirements

  • Proven experience from working with dealer networks, service business, or aftermarket operations

  • Experience from working in international and cross-functional environments
    Strong understanding of service flows, warranty processes, and spare parts business

  • Experience with KPIs, performance management systems, and operational frameworks

  • Leadership experience and the ability to drive initiatives across organizations

  • Academic degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent

  • Fluency in English

Experience from industrial B2B environments such as automotive, construction equipment, or industrial machinery is considered a strong advantage.
