About the role
The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for providing leadership for the coordination, evaluation and continuous improvement of the medical staff to meet standards of practice and patient centered care within the care delivery system.
The Chief Medical Officer is the executive lead in partnership with the Chief Experience Officer and the Chief Operating Officer for medical recruitment and retention strategies including orientation model and continuing medical education, succession planning for key medical leadership positions and performance development and management model for the Women’s. The Chief Medical Officer will act as a role model, mentor, resource and support to other members of their profession.
