Bio
As a Partner, Karin Hagelborn advises owners, boards and chief executives on strategic leadership topics and the most senior appointments, at both board and executive level. At Alumni Global, her clients range from private equity-backed growth companies to large blue-chip corporations, primarily across the industrial, service and real estate sectors.
Karin Hagelborn joined Alumni Global in 2014 and has built a successful track record and network at top executive level, delivering executive searches within CEO and Board, Finance and Legal, HR, and Supply Chain and Operations. Before joining, she gained more than 10 years of leadership experience in international companies, spanning Finance, M&A, Operations and HR.
Earlier in her career, Karin Hagelborn worked in real estate, banking, private equity and media. Her previous employers include GE and GE Capital/Real Estate, NBC Universal, Schibsted, Procuritas Partners and HSBC.
Karin Hagelborn holds an MSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and also studied at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) near Paris. She holds a diploma in coaching from the International Coach Federation and is certified in applicable psychometric tests used in leadership assessment. A Swedish and Swiss citizen, she has worked internationally in the UK, France, Germany and Sweden.
