Elos Medtech, located in Gørløse between Hillerød and Frederikssund, is looking for an experienced leader to head the finance department. The core perspective of your new role is to support the business from a finance perspective to enable analysis and decision-making and at the same time drive, coach and develop the finance department consisting of three experienced employees.
Your Role
As our Finance Director you will be part of two management teams – the local production management team and the Business Unit Dental management team. BU Dental - one of five business units of Elos Medtech - with production at several sites in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland. The role is consequently divided in two important parts:
Key responsibilities as Finance Director BU site
Be part of the local production management team
Lead, guide and coach your employees in the finance department at the site in Gørløse
Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks/projects and follow up on standard costs
Lead the financial reporting, month-end closing and monthly financial forecast
Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance and financial production performance
Local tax, annual accounts, transfer pricing documentation and other legal requirements for the Danish entity
Manage and monitor metrics, cashflow and KPI tracking.
Key responsibilities as BU controller
Be part of the BU Dental management team
Manage & support all BU reporting, ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery
Support the daily business with standard cost evaluations, analysis, price input etc.
Pursuit financial targets through analysis and sharing of financial knowledge.
Co-ordinate and support allocations/cost share between Business Units
Lead the budget and forecasting processes
Close interaction with the business when it comes to major projects such as R&D, marketing, CAPEX and OPEX investments.
The Finance Director will report to Ewa Linsäter, Group CFO, who is based at the headquarter of Elos Medtech in Gothenburg. You should be prepared for some travel activity - estimated to 10-20 days a year.
About You
We are looking for someone who thrive in a global, decentralized and growth-oriented value driven environment with high ethical standards and a strong culture.
+5 years experience from similar positions as Finance Manager, Finance Director or CFO in international production companies
Leading, coaching and developing small teams
Strong knowledge of accounting practice, business and financial controlling, production analysis, tax etc.
Experienced leader with a “hands-on” and “can-do” attitude
Presenting statements, business cases, analysis, financial results etc.
ERP systems – use, optimize and implement
M.Sc. in Finance or the like with a background from “Big Five” audit companies.
As a person and leader, you are self-starter with a strong drive, trustworthy and dynamic with a commercial mindset. You are open, positive and outgoing – and perhaps ready for an international career!
