About the role
The Clinical Director, Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol Services Directorate is accountable for the provision of strategic clinical leadership and to significantly contribute to the achievement of Barwon Health’s strategic objectives and Health Care Plan. The Clinical Director will participate as a member of the Barwon Health Clinical Leadership team and provide Barwon Health Executive high-level clinical advice that contributes to service planning and assists in the development/implementation of clinical networks, and their plans.

Barwon Health provides a public, clinical, mental health drug and alcohol service for people living in the Barwon region (Including Greater Geelong, the Bellarine, Surf Coast and Colac-Otway regions).
What we do
Barwon Health’s Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol Services delivers a range of specialist community and hospital-based services for all ages who are experiencing mental health and/or drug and alcohol challenges. Services bring together evidence from research with an understanding of people’s lived experience—what works for them.
