A Catholic not-for-profit ministry of Mercy Partners, Mater is guided by the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy who first established Mater in 1906 when they built the first Mater Private Hospital. About the role

The role of Chief Executive at Mater has principal responsibility for the leadership and management of Mater and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, including Mater Research, Mater Education and Mater Foundation.

As leader of the Mater Executive team, this role provides strong leadership in delivering on and upholding Mater’s Mission, Vision and Values in alignment with the Mater Board’s priorities and the organisation’s strategic plan to ensure optimal performance in service delivery, teaching and research activities.
