The transition towards electric vehicles and renewable energy as well as initiatives within working conditions are some of the key actions on a global level, paired with local initiatives on each market.

Challenge

Loomis found themselves without a Head of Sustainability, in a time where the company was ready to level up its ambitions within the area. They wanted to find a senior executive who could start immediately, with a very short take-off distance and quickly produce results.

Results

Alumni engaged our network of interim consultants and quickly identified that Stina Yones, who has worked with Alumni in the past was a great fit for Loomis. Stina haa a background in business strategy paired with solid experience in sustainability within the energy and fuel sector. As an experienced interim sustainability manager, Stina was quick to find her feet, grasp the role as well as the business, set out a course of direction and understood what needed to be done.

Stina stayed on as Head of Sustainability for almost a year, helping the company deliver on its strategy and direction for its efforts within sustainability, before helping to make a smooth handover when Loomis had ensured a permanent solution in place.

Stina Yones,
Interim Manager

My assignments vary in length and in complexity, but my end-goal is to always the same: to leave the organisation stronger than when I first started. In an interim role I find that people are very open to learn from the experience I have gained and the expertise from having worked in a number of different industries. I feel that my perspective adds value, oftentimes beyond what has been identified in the specific project requirements.
— Stina Yones, Interim Manager
