"First 100 days"
Close to all executives perceive the first ninety days in a new role to be twice as important as the selection process in determining their success.
Clearly, the induction process is critical and must consist of more than familiarisation with the new location and the required functional processes. Alumni understands this.
We work with clients to help make an executive’s first ninety days as productive as possible, primarily by ensuring that the relationship between the new executive and his or her superior/s (whether a CEO or board of directors) is cemented within the first few weeks or even days.
This critical relationship must be built on solid foundations so that the new executive feels able to raise issues, engage in discussions, and establish a modus operandi.
